¿Es el arte tan importante en la vida de los seres humanos?
Hablo de arte en singular porque este término engloba todas las artes. El arte está presente en todas partes y componentes de la vida y el universo. En un paisaje hermoso hay poesía, música, composición de colores, contrastes, que provocan en el observador una sensación especial, inexplicable, única. Cada observador tendrá una percepción diferente como ocurre cuando admiramos una pintura de un maestro. Esto dependerá del estado de ánimo de cada persona, sensibilidad, carácter, cultura y de muchos otros factores. Pero, ¿ solamente activan nuestra atención los paisajes espectaculares plenos en colorido y elementos fuera de lo común? No. Por supuesto que no. Cualquier paisaje puede ser apreciado como un lugar de gran interés y hasta de un contenido estético especial. Esto, lógicamente, dependerá en gran medida de quién observa el paisaje. Aún los paisajes o sitios menos favorecidos, ya sean áridos, agrestes, desérticos, etc., tendrán siempre elementos y composiciones atractivos para muchos.
¿Qué sería de la vida sin música, sin teatros, sin cines, sin poesía, sin literatura, sin el canto de los pájaros, sin todas las demás manifestaciones artísticas que conocemos, incluyendo el ruido de nuestro entorno? Sería algo así como un cuerpo sin alma, un violin sin cuerdas, un todo sin nada.
